…welp, looks like this may have to become a triptych…

Still need to do a solo photoshoot, but caved in and got basic Clawdeen. She grew on me. Plus, the squad is all together now!

I did a pinch of rearranging, tho, so Frankie and Cleo could sit together.

Bought a pair of Mini Brands balls on something of a whim. One of those “need to spend this much more to get free shipping” things and, hey, accessories for silly doll photos is always a plus.

Opened the first one and here’s what I ended up with:

Hm. Not too impressed with three mini cardboard boxes. But, hey, that mini PEZ dispenser is adorable.

Anyway, realized after the first one that I should do an unboxing. So I got a little help:

I made the mistake of pulling the tab off before I got all the wrapping off on the first one.

…we still had a bit of an explosion. Oops.

Anyway, first slice:

Let’s just take a second and…

It’s a sign! Very cool!

Already liking this ball better than the first. Now let’s pop open the next slice…

…oh. Another cardboard box. And a duplicate, at that. Bleh. But, hey, at least Miss Skelly has ranch to go with all those wings.

Ooo, some cheese! That’s more like it.

Will I get more of these? …eh, maybe if they’re on sale. Or I need order filler. They’re definitely cute, though!

somehow instead of saying “as a treat”, I’ve started using the phrase “for morale”, as if my body is a ship and its crew, and I (the captain) have to keep us in high spirits, lest we suffer a mutiny in the coming days.

and so I will eat this small block of fancy cheese, for morale. I will take a break and drink some tea, for morale. I will pick up that weird bug, for morale.
